Hi @Reader, As anyone who’s recovered from an injury knows, little milestones towards your recovery can make you so incredibly happy. This week, I’m happy to say that I made some major progress in several areas. I was finally able to start driving again - just short drives but it's something! Independence is so important to me and knowing that I can drive myself, at least locally, made me really happy. And - I was able to go for a run. I probably could’ve done it sooner, but I had been having so much pain since the surgery that I really didn’t feel up to it. But since I can’t lift weights as I normally would, I was dying to get some kind of exercise. I got permission from my doctor, who reminded me to be very careful, and I went for it! While I’m a terrible runner, I always feel great afterwards. And running always reminds me of something very important - How pushing past resistance and fear is always the right move. Because running is challenging for me, getting myself to complete a run feels like a huge victory. And that victory makes me feel empowered and ready to take on just about anything. Your thing might not be running, but I’m sure you have some kind of equivalent that you don’t really love - but you actually feel great once you tackle it. Those are the things to pay attention to - Because those are the things that will make you feel the most alive and the most proud of yourself. On another note, as you might already know, I am a huge fan of red light therapy! It's been amazing for my skin, as well as a ton of other benefits. While I firmly believe that a red light panel is superior in terms of benefits (here is why), I do think masks can be incredibly convenient when you need to multitask and of course, travel. I bought a red light mask from Nanoleaf last year, after reading some really great reviews. I also really liked the price point! It’s now been almost a full year that I’ve been using it, so I finally feel comfortable recommending it. I did recently become a Nanoleaf affiliate (I only work with brands that I use and love) and now I’m able to offer 10% off through my link. So if you’ve been looking for a good and affordable red light mask, this is a good one. I will say, however, that on a regular basis, I still love using my panel by Mito. Although it looks like Nanoleaf is now expanding into panels as well, but at present only with capabilities for Europe and UK. I don’t have a new full-length video out this week (although do check out my travel tips short series if you haven’t yet) but stay tuned for next week when I will have one dropping! ishing you a happy Sunday and a beautiful week ahead🌸 Amalia

Hi Reader, If you’ve ever landed after a long flight and caught your reflection looking… dull, puffy, dehydrated — You’re not imagining it. Cabin air has a fraction of the humidity your skin is used to on the ground, and it pulls moisture straight out of it the entire time you’re in the air. After years of flying for a living, I’ve built a skincare/wellness routine around two windows: Right before I fly, and right after I land. Here’s what that actually looks like. Before & during the flight:...
Hi Reader, It’s August and there is so much stuff I feel like I should have done by now this year. So of course, I’ve been dwelling on that. Until I got on the phone with a friend who helped remind me of all the stuff I have done. This year and in the past. In case you don’t have that friend, or simply don’t have the time to call - (‘cause that’s real, especially when you’re juggling trips, work, life stuff, and everything in between!), Allow me to be her for you - Reader! You have come so...
Hi Reader, I hope you had a great 4th if you celebrate it - or otherwise, just a great Saturday! I managed to have a good time despite a very unfortunate accident in the airport that happened two days before. Sadly, that accident resulted in a badly broken wrist on my part. my broken wrist It sucks big time, yes. But I’m trying to take this as some kind of a message from the universe, that I need to take a rest? Lord knows it’s definitely been quite busy lately. Though I can definitely think...
