When you just need a break...literally

Hi Reader,

I hope you had a great 4th if you celebrate it - or otherwise, just a great Saturday!

I managed to have a good time despite a very unfortunate accident in the airport that happened two days before.

Sadly, that accident resulted in a badly broken wrist on my part.

It sucks big time, yes.

But I’m trying to take this as some kind of a message from the universe, that I need to take a rest?

Lord knows it’s definitely been quite busy lately. Though I can definitely think of way more pleasant ways to take a rest…but it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

But nonetheless, I was still able to have a great time at a good friend’s of 4th of July party and I do really love watching fireworks.

And in case you perhaps might’ve overindulged at your 4th of July celebration (not me though, I’m on painkillers 😬), there is a product that can help with that.

One of my favorite wellness product discoveries in the past two years has been these tiny tablets called EnergyBits.

They combine Chlorella and Spirulina, two incredible superfoods. They contain more protein than a steak, count as servings of vegetables and are incredible for detoxification.

And the genius of these little things is that they come in very tiny tablets that you can swallow, chew or blend up in a smoothie.

As a flight attendant, these are especially helpful because I can take them on all my travels.

I also recently learned that Chlorella helps in the prevention and recovery of hangovers, so there’s that too -

Chlorella binds to acetaldehyde, the toxic byproduct of alcohol, and helps your body clear it out.

(not that I’m advocating getting drunk on a regular basis, but it’s still good to know! 😂)

If you’d like to give EnergyBits a try, I am an affiliate for them and you can get 15% off of your first order.

Please know that I only partner with brands that I actually use and love.

And while we’re on the topic of staying healthy while traveling (super ironic as I sit here with a broken wrist lol) - my new video is out!

video preview

It’s specifically about staying healthy during an Alaska cruise - a bucket list cruise that has quite a high rate of people getting sick.

But these tips can honestly apply to any type of cruise and really just about every kind of travel.

With the summer travel season in full swing, these tips can prevent an illness that would otherwise ruin a great vacation.

And on a personal note -

Unfortunately, I will be unable to fly for quite a while, until my wrist heals.

Now, more than ever, I would very much appreciate your support of my YouTube channel. Taking a moment to give it a like, a comment, or a subscribe if you’re not yet subscribed, really means the world ❤️

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday and lots of good health 🌸

Get more protein and more greens in a tiny tablet!

EnergyBits are tiny chewable tablets made up of either Chlorella or Spirulina - or both.

Spirulina has 3x the amount of protein as a steak and Chlorella is a detoxifying green algae. I love these as a quick & clean source of energy and nutrients!

Hi Reader, If you’ve ever landed after a long flight and caught your reflection looking… dull, puffy, dehydrated — You’re not imagining it. Cabin air has a fraction of the humidity your skin is used to on the ground, and it pulls moisture straight out of it the entire time you’re in the air. After years of flying for a living, I’ve built a skincare/wellness routine around two windows: Right before I fly, and right after I land. Here’s what that actually looks like. Before & during the flight:...

Hi Reader, It’s August and there is so much stuff I feel like I should have done by now this year. So of course, I’ve been dwelling on that. Until I got on the phone with a friend who helped remind me of all the stuff I have done. This year and in the past. In case you don’t have that friend, or simply don’t have the time to call - (‘cause that’s real, especially when you’re juggling trips, work, life stuff, and everything in between!), Allow me to be her for you - Reader! You have come so...

Hi @Reader, As anyone who’s recovered from an injury knows, little milestones towards your recovery can make you so incredibly happy. This week, I’m happy to say that I made some major progress in several areas. I was finally able to start driving again - just short drives but it's something! Independence is so important to me and knowing that I can drive myself, at least locally, made me really happy. And - I was able to go for a run. I probably could’ve done it sooner, but I had been having...
