Do supplements really work?

Hi Reader,

A question that I'm often asked is -

Are vitamins and supplements are actually worth it?

And if so...which ones to take??

I get it.

There's an overwhelming amount of info out there on which supplements you must take -

and then others who say that supplements are just giving you expensive pee 🙄 (a catchy statement but I can quickly disprove that one with my bloodwork, which I do twice a year at a minimum).

So as to which supplements you should take - for the most part that is something that is very particular to each individual.

There are however supplements which pretty much everyone should ideally take, such as Magnesium and D3, but then there are also others that most people can benefit from, but not necessarily all.

Have I confused you even more?

Sorry 😬

Ok, so my solution to these questions was to make a video about the exact supplements that I personally take and give to my family, along with explanations as to why I take them.

This is definitely not to be taken as medical or even personal advice, since I do not have your medical history in front of me.

However what it can be, is a jumping off point for your own research and/or conversation with your medical professional.

Supplements are definitely powerful and can be highly effective.

But it is also because they are powerful that you absolutely need to know if there are any known interactions or restrictions if you are already taking prescription medication or have a pre-existing condition.

I hope that you find this video helpful!

Oh and if you could give the video a quick "like" or even a comment, that is so appreciated! 💗

Wishing you a beautiful weekend!

Amalia

Hi Reader, Did you know the second Friday of every January is actually known as quitter’s day? Meaning, the day that most people abandon their New Year’s resolutions. The weather is not helping matters either. Even normally sunny Miami has been pretty gloomy and chilly 🥶 Maybe like me, you started out the new year excited for the possibilities and with a list of things that you would like to work on, or goals to meet. Actually, I was feeling pretty great! Until - I got hit with a really bad...

Hi Reader, I recently recovered from a pretty icky cold. The problem with me and colds is that I have the world‘s worst sinuses - —seriously, I’ve been told this by an ENT. Well ok, she didn’t say that exactly, but she did say that I should get sinus surgery - which I didn’t 🤣 In the past, colds would almost always turn into sinus infections and eventually asthma. But now I have a couple of tools that help me prevent that. One is regular use of my Neti pot. I use it a few times a week when...

Hi Reader, I have mixed feelings about Black Friday… On one hand, it feels like intense pressure to overspend and buy things that you don’t really need or want. But on the other hand? There actually are some amazing deals if there’s something you’ve had your eye on or if you’ve been looking for some great gifts 🎁 One of the most awesome deals right now is a product that has been absolutely amazing for me - my red light therapy panel. If you’ve known me for a little while, you’ll know I’ve...
