Hi Reader Did you know that your biological age can actually be a lot of younger than your actual years on Earth - depending on your diet and lifestyle? Conversely, your biological age could actually be older than you, also depending on your lifestyle. He said excitedly, “your cholesterol levels are the best I’ve seen in a very long while! I can tell that you keep a super clean diet”. I was pretty proud of this, I admit. And yes, I do keep a pretty clean diet. However, I am no saint. I LOVE food. I don’t sit around eating lettuce and carrot sticks all day and then spend 3 hours in the gym. No way! But what I have learned to do over the years, is how to make healthy eating fun and delicious, so that I never feel deprived. I can honestly say, I rarely let a craving go unsatisfied. If I want to eat something, I do. Now, do I first try to make or find a healthy version of that craving? Absolutely. And almost always, there’s a healthy version of whatever I want that is just as delicious and won’t leave me feeling awful (with Hashimoto’s, you’re a lot more sensitive to junk food). So back to the biological age thing - New research shows that our biological age does not necessarily correspond to our actual age. So yes, you can actually have lived 40 years on this Earth but have a biological age of 30. Pretty cool, right? One of my heroes, Dr. Mark Hyman, goes into depth on this subject in his excellent book, “Young Forever”. The biggest takeaway from his book and the research that he cites? Good ‘ole diet & exercise. Sorry, doesn’t sound exciting, I know. But also - Isn’t it kind of exciting? That this literal fountain of youth is available to all of us? Yes supplements & vitamins are also super helpful but nothing can make up for a poor diet and lack of movement. If you haven’t checked it out yet, in my video, Healthy Eating Hacks, I share some of my favorite easy and healthy recipes & hacks that make it easier for me to eat healthy. I'm planning to make Healthy Eating Hacks an ongoing series so stay tuned and do subscribe to my channel if you haven't already! In terms of exercise, I keep that simple too! You don't have to spend hours in the gym (unless you want to!). Exercise can and should be about joyful movement. It should enrich your life, rather than feeling like another chore. And yes, I do happen to have a video all about that as well ;) And if there are other wellness video topics that you would like to see more of, please feel free to reply to this email and let me know! Wishing you a beautiful weekend full of joy and delicious food, Amalia P.S. - If you are a new business owner and/or looking to start your own podcast or YouTube channel, check out my new video on how to grow your audience. This is not my typical wellness video! And for even more audience growth - my friend Selena Soo, an incredible publicist, is hosting a free masterclass on May 15th called 10X Your Visibility. Selena rarely offers this class and she is very generous with her knowledge - definitely worth it if you are looking for more visibility in your work this year!

Dear Reader, One year ago, I set off on a 30 day experiment with an at-home red light therapy panel to see what would happen. Now one year later, my red light panel has turned out to be one of the best investments I could’ve made, not only for my skin - but for my overall wellbeing. And I keep finding more and more uses for it! Check out the full video on YouTube 🚨 And if you’re wondering which brand and model that I use, it’s the Mito Pro 300, a medium-sized panel with both red light and...
Confession - I am not a naturally organized person. I admire organization. I really do. And I truly love the way it feels when I’m in a very organized and harmonious space. But I’ve come to realize, some people just have a knack for organizing. Like my husband, for example. He doesn’t have much free time, but when he does set his mind to an organizing project, it looks fantastic afterwards 🙌 Me on the other hand? If I try to organize something by myself, there will be lots of time spent...
Hey Reader, Sometimes we just need a little comfort food, am I right? Usually comfort food tends to refer to things like big bowls of pasta, creamy mac & cheese, and thick slices of cake. But what if your comfort food could actually be something healthy? It’s absolutely possible! 🙌 I LOVE to eat well and one of my favorite things to do is re-creating my favorite foods in a healthier version. I created this recipe for Creamy Cauliflower Gratin, using the delicious French potato dish “Gratin...
